Lucia Saldana, MPAS, PA-C
I’m Lucia (“Lucy”) Saldana, a Physician Assistant with over two decades in medicine. I earned my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2002 and have served at Cooper Internal Medicine since 2007. My clinical experience spans family practice, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and internal medicine—and I’ve had the joy of caring for four generations within the same families.
My approach is grounded in empathy, clear communication, and a collaborative spirit. I treat every patient like family and believe effective care starts with education: when you understand your condition, you can lead your own healing. I’m patient and thorough, taking time to correct common misconceptions—for example, with diabetes, treatment isn’t “just a pill”; the most important first step begins with you.
Outside of work, I’m active in church and ministry, and I love traveling to experience other cultures and hiking through far-flung countrysides. These pursuits keep me balanced, prevent burnout, and deepen my ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
After two decades of service, I remain committed to ethical, patient-centered care—and to showing up each day with enthusiasm and compassion.
